Here’s the last run to the lake for the season as part of our Charity Drive this season! Bring a toy, Get a raffle ticket!

This will be a fun day with some time for lunch at the lake. We will meet up at the Rolls (Butcher Jones) OHV area which is about ¼ mile straight from the entrance off Bush Highway. (Coordinates are for the turn off, then follow straight past the parking lot to the staging area)

The first part of the run from Pobrecito to Cove 2 will be a little more technical and has some great climbs and a few obstacles. We will take that route and head down to the lake, set up for lunch and spend an hour or so there (weather permitting). Once we pack up, we will head up through the rolls towards the Four Peaks upper staging area.

From the 4 peaks staging area, you will have the choice to either air up and head out or continue on with us down through Trail FR11 which will take us out to the Beeline Highway (SR87) near Mesquite Wash. If there is water in the wash, may make a detour to get wet. (Fingers Crossed).

Most Broncos should have no problem running this trail (depending on your skill level), if you’re running tires smaller than 33” you may have some scraping in a couple areas. Rear locker is preferred but not necessary to make it. This is NOT a first timer trail and not Sport friendly.

The Basics and What to Bring

  • Pack it in, Pack it out.
